A 2011 graduate of Oshkosh North High School, Josh was a first team all FVA pitcher and third team all state by the WBCA. He was also a 4 year varsity member in basketball and won the 2010 FVA basketball all star game dunk contest.
He attended UW Milwaukee where he was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 5th round of the 2013 MLB Draft - the 152nd overall pick. Boasting a fastball that would top in the upper 90's, Uhen pitched professionally in the Brewers organization for 5 plus years and in 2015, he played for the hometown Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in Appleton. He made it up to AA (Biloxi, MS) and retired from baseball in 2019.
Josh currently resides in Neenah, WI and is available for pitching lessons and will be helping CBT in a variety of different ways in all age groups including practices, games and tournaments.
Cavaiani on Uhen: "Adding someone with a resume like Josh's is a no brainer. Being drafted that high in the MLB Draft is a huge accomplishment in and of itself. Having Josh reach out to us and want to be involved with what we're doing is humbling and exciting. On top of that, Josh is a quality person of high character who will directly benefit the young men in our program on and off the field. We're excited to add another high quality baseball guy and person to our staff that is developing into one of the best collection of coaches in the midwest."
