Growing up northwest Milwaukee, Craig has been involved in baseball for over four decades, starting at the age of five and staying connected to the game ever since. For the past 14 years, he has been heavily involved in baseball and softball instruction, working with athletes ages 9–18. He's served as the catching instructor responsible for developing catchers across entire programs, helping them grow in technique, game awareness, leadership, and presence behind the plate.
In addition to his hands-on instructional work, Craig been invited to speak at the WIAA yearly fastpitch softball conference on the topic of catching and catching development. This opportunity has allowed him to share his philosophy and training methods with coaches from across the state.
Beginning in youth baseball and continued through high school and Legion baseball, he continued playing for years in the Rock River League, a competitive adult league with strong tradition and talent. That experience helped deepen his understanding of the game and further shaped the instructional methods and competitive mindset he brings to his students today.
He's also been involved with the coaching of multiple national-level youth teams, giving him valuable experience observing and developing high-level players. These opportunities have helped him understand what it takes to compete at elite levels and how to prepare young athletes to reach the next stage of their baseball or softball journey.
In his own words:
"Baseball has been a constant in my life for more than 40 years, and it continues to be something I am truly passionate about. Teaching the game is my way of giving back — helping players maximize their potential, understand the game, and find confidence and direction through sport. If your athlete is looking to elevate their catching, hitting, or overall baseball IQ, I can help provide the instruction and experience necessary moving forward."
