Originally from Menasha, Wisconsin, Madyson attended Menasha High School from 2016-2019 and played varsity softball all four years. During high school, she started as an infielder but later moved to the outfield. During her senior season, she was named Second Team All-Conference. 

 

After high school, she continued her softball career at the University of Dubuque in Iowa where she played from 2019-2023. Similar to her high school experience, she began as an infielder before transitioning to the outfield finishing out her career.

Madyson Dwight: "My goal as a coach is to create a positive, supportive environment where every player can grow both as an athlete and as a person. I want to help each player develop their skills by teaching the fundamentals at a pace that allows them to understand and be able to apply them in game situations. I believe that building confidence, encouraging versatility, and keeping a positive attitude are just as important as winning. I want the players to learn to compete with effort and determination while still having fun and enjoying the game. I also hope to encourage curiosity by creating an environment where players feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and continuously improving. I want every player to leave the season with stronger skills, greater confidence, and a genuine love for the game."
